Petitioner, who is the sole accused in O.R. No.19/2010 of

Forest Range Office, Pathanapuram for an offence punishable under Section 9 of the Wild Life(Protection) Act, 1972 for allegedly keeping two kgs of meat of wild boar, seeks anticipatory bail. The occurrence took place on 08.06.2010.

Pursuant to the directions by this court, petitioner appreared before the investigating officer on 30.08.2010 and he was interrogated. The Petitioner may now file an application for regular bail before the Magistrate concerned within 10 days from today. In case, he files such an application, the learned Magistrate shall consider and dispose of the same on merits preferably on the same date on which it is filed.
