The petitioner apprehends arrest in Crime No.108 of 2008 of Poziyoor Police Station, Thiruvananthapuram District. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. It is submitted that the investigation of the case is being conducted by the Deputy Superintendent of Police Crime Detachment, Thiruvananthapuram Rural Police,
Thiruvananthapuram.
The learned Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that in Crime No.108 of 2008, the petitioner is not an accused at all and that there is no intention for the police to arrest him. This submission is recorded and the Bail Application is closed.
