Petitioner is an UD Typist working in the District Soil Conservator Office, Idukki at Moolamattom. By Ext.P2 order, along with others, she has been transferred to Kottayam. It is also her

case that she has already filed Ext.P3 appeal before the first respondent and that the said appeal is pending. It is complaining of the transfer and non-disposal of Ext.P3 appeal that the writ petition has been filed.

At the stage of admission this court passed an order dated 31.8.2009 staying her transfer and that order has been extended from time to time and is in force.

Although several contentions have been raised, having regard to the fact that Ext.P3 appeal is pending consideration of the first respondent, I feel that it is only appropriate to direct the first respondent to consider and pass orders thereon. This the first respondent shall do, as expeditiously as possible, and at any rate within 8 weeks from the date of production of a copy of the

In the meanwhile it is directed that the interim order

passed by this court on 31.8.2009 and extended thereafter will
