This original petition has been forwarded by the Supreme Court of India before whom a petition under Article 32 of the Constitution of India had been filed by the petitioners for consideration of the same as a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. Accordingly, the same was posted for admission on 13.1.2009. Although the counsel for the Municipality was present, the counsel for the petitioners was not present. Accordingly, I adjourned the writ petition to today. Today also, none appears for the petitioners. In the above circumstances, the writ petition is dismissed for default.
