When the Writ Appeal was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for respondents 1 and 2, who were the writ petitioners, prayed that respondents 1 and 2 may be permitted to withdraw the Writ Petition itself and the judgment under appeal may be vacated, as, according to them, the Government have already granted the reliefs sought by them.
