JUDGMENT
The petitioner is aggrieved by rejection of the petitioner’s application for LPG distributorship by Ext.P4 order. The rejection was on the ground that the petitioner has not submitted the application in time prescribed in the notification inviting applications. The fact that the application was submitted late, is not disputed. The contention is that although the petitioner reached the office of the respondent in time for filing the application, he was not allowed to enter the office to file the application. Therefore, he was forced to send the application by registered post.
A counter affidavit has been filed by the respondent disputing the contentions of the petitioner. It is specifically stated that every person, who had reached the office within time, has been allowed to enter the premises for filing the application. The petitioner was not able to controvert the specific

contentions in the affidavit. That being so, it remains a fact that the petitioner’s application was belated. Therefore, I do not find anything wrong in Ext.P4 order. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
