When C.C.No.1617/2007 came up for consideration, on the basis of the judgment in W.P.(C) No.1763/2007, it was noticed that there was a mistake in the last paragraph of the judgment issued in this case on 30/01/2007, in as much as the direction to decide on the application of the petitioner was issued to the 1st respondent instead of the 3rd respondent. In view of the reasons in the judgment, particularly, that the revenue authorities are not to interfere with the statutory duties of the geologist, the directions contained in the last paragraph was intended to be issued against the 3rd respondent. Therefore, the word '1st respondent' in the last paragraph of the judgment, dated 30/01/2007, in W.P.(C) No.1763/2007 is corrected as the '3rd respondent'. The office shall communicate the copy of this corrected order for appropriate compliance.
