JUDGMENT

The petitioner's results for the fourth semester MBA Course has not been declared by respondents 1 and 2 on the ground that his qualifying degree has not been recognised by the University. The petitioner contends that as early as on 26.5.2006 the petitioner has been directed to produce the syllabus and scheme of examination of the qualifying degree of the petitioner for consideration of the question of recognition. The petitioner now seeks a direction to the University to take an appropriate decision in the matter of recognition expeditiously.

In the above circumstances, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to take a final decision, regarding recognition of the petitioner's qualifying degree, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. If the University decides to recognise the petitioner's

qualification as sufficient for the MBA Course, the petitioner's results shall be published within a period of two weeks from the date of taking the decision.
