This original petition was filed in 1998. When it came up for hearing on 7.10.2005, the same was referred to the Lok Adalath , since the learned Judge felt that there is a chance of settlement of the issue. The matter was posted before the Adalath on 11.10.2007. Neither the petitioner nor the contesting respondent appeared before the Lok Adalath on that day. The Adalath adjourned it to next month. It again came up before the Adalath on 6.11.2007. On that day also, parties and counsel were absent. Therefore, this file was sent back to regular court for hearing. When this matter was taken up today for hearing also, both counsel and parties were absent. Therefore, it is clear that the parties are not interested in the matter any more. Further the amount involved is trivial. Accordingly, this original petition is dismissed for default.
