This revision petition is filed challenging the enhanced compensation granted by Additional District Court, Thalassery, in O.P. (Ele) No. 518/1999. The learned District Judge disposed that petition along with O.P.(Ele) Nos.521, 524, 558, 574, 618 and 767 of 1999. C.R.P.No.1721/2002, was preferred against the very same common order in O.P.(Ele) No.558/1999. As per order dated 16.1.2008, this Court allowed the revision and remanded the case back to the District Court, taking note of the fact that connected matters were remanded

in view of the decision of the Apex Court in KSEB v. Livisha (2007 (3) KLT 1), the common order was set aside and the case was remanded to the District Court for fresh disposal.

In such circumstances, revision is allowed. The order in O.P.(Ele) No.518/99 is also set aside, and the case is remanded to the District Court for fresh disposal, in accordance with law. Parties are permitted to adduce further evidence.
