JUDGMENT

The petitioner is having a regular permit on the route Mylambady-Kalpetta-Sultan Battery. Since the permit was going to expire on 22-8-2006 the petitioner submitted Ext.P1 application for renewal of the same on 3-8-2006. The petitioner's vehicle is a six wheeler light motor vehicle. In view of Ext.P2 judgment, he submits, he is entitled to get renewal of the permit.

Heard the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. The learned Government Pleader, upon instruction, submitted that Ext.P1 application is received and pending and it is being processed.

The Writ Petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P1, in accordance with law, taking into account Ext.P2 judgment of this Court, at its next meeting or at any rate within two months from the date of production of a copy of this judgment.
