Standing counsel for the Municipality Mr.Chandran Pillai seeks more time to get instructions from the Municipality.
amount and the retention amount have already been released to the petitioner. I do not find any reason as to why the security amount is not released to the petitioner. The Municipality will take a decision on the question of release of the security amount to the petitioner immediately and communicate the decision to the petitioner. Every endeavour will be made by the Municipality to release the amount early and at any rate within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
Writ petition is disposed of as above.
