JUDGMENT
The writ petition is filed mainly with the following prayer:-
i) to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order directing the respondents that promotion to the cadre of Special Grade Secretary shall be made on the basis of the ranking in the final seniority list of Executive Officers Grade I published in Ext.P1 proceedings.
There are other ancillary reliefs also. There is no counter affidavit.
Since the petitioners have represented their grievances before the Government as per Ext.P5, if no action has been taken on Ext.P5, there will be a direction to the first respondent to look into Ext.P5 with notice to the petitioners and take appropriate action in accordance with law, if not already taken within a period of four months from the date of production of a copy of the judgment.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
