This appeal was admitted as early as on 7.7.1997. It is submitted that the appellant died in the year 1990. So far, impleadment was not done. The E.I. court, after certain findings, only directed the Corporation to make the assessment. If the assessment is not agreeable, it is for the legal representatives to challenge the assessment. This appeal is dismissed as abated.
