The revision petitioners challenge the judgment dated 13.7.2006 passed by the Additional Sessions Court, Fast Track-III, Palakkad, convicting them for an offence punishable under section 427 IPC. They stand acquitted for the rest of the offences for which they were charged. Pending this revision, the revision petitioners have filed Crl.M.A.No.9465/07 seeking permission to compound the offence. Permission is granted. The composition referred to in the petition is recorded. This will have the effect of an acquittal within the meaning of section 320(8) Cr.P.C.
This revision is disposed of as above.
