The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs:

"a. Issue Direction to the Respondent No.1 Bank to furnish the Statement of Accounts of the Petitioner Firm's Current Account bearing Number 151010200006873.

b. Issue Direction to the Respondent No.1 Bank to furnish the Statement of Accounts of the Loan Accounts bearing numbers 009010600159869 and 009010600156844,

and a Copy of the entire set of documents pertaining to the said Loan Accounts.

c. Issue a direction to the Respondent No.2 Bank to furnish the entire set of documents pertaining to the Auction Sale of the property No.10-A, measuring East to West 230 Feet and North to South 63 Feet, 'Kaigarike Pattana', Bannimantap - A Layout, Mandi Mohalla, Mysore, dated 04.08.2011.

d. Grant liberty to the Petitioner Firm to approach the Hon'ble DRT to seek appropriate relief for the refund of the surplus sale proceeds of the Auction sale dated 04.08.2011.

e. Pass any other order as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the interest of justice and equity."

The grievance of the petitioner is that, despite the petitioner having approached the Bank Manager of the respondent, where the petitioner has maintained an account, requesting for the statement of account, the same may not be in furnished.

Learned counsel for respondent submitted that if the petitioner were to approach the respondent with a written request, the same would be considered and copies be furnished, within seven days on the written request being made.
