"Vide the present petition, the Petitioners have sought a writ in the nature of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to verify and certify the weighing scales being used by the Petitioners as on the date of the petition, without insisting on re-calibration of such weighing scales to have a verification scale interval of 1 mg, as per the impugned Notification at Annexure-A.

It is submitted since the filing of this petition, all members of the Petitioner No.1 association, as well as Petitioners No.2 and 3 have re-calibrated their weighing scales to be compliant with the impugned Notification. Consequently, the present Writ Petition has become infructuous.

Wherefore, this memo may be taken on the record, and the present Writ Petition may be dismissed as withdrawn in the interest of justice and equity."
