The matter pertains to Kalaburagi Bench. In

view of the order passed by the Division Bench of this Court in the case of Sawanth R.S. Vs. State of Karnataka and Others¹ , the petitioners ought to have filed a writ petition before the Kalaburagi Bench of this Court. Instead of filing a writ petition before the Kalaburagi Bench, the petitioners have filed this writ petition.

In view of the above discussion, I proceed to

i. The writ petition is rejected on the ground of territorial jurisdiction with a liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh writ petition before the Kalaburagi Bench of this Court;
