Learned counsel for appearing respondent No.1 on instructions, submits that writ are seeking mandamus directing respondent No.1 to expedite the enquiry, has to be deferred in the backdrop of elections to first respondent recently being concluded. He would point out that the Council have to be elected among the elected members and thereafter, a Disciplinary Committee has to be constituted by the Council of first respondent/Karnataka State Bar Council. Unless the Disciplinary Committee is constituted, the enquiry now pending have to be deferred.

Recording the submission, petition stands disposed off with a limited direction that forthcoming Council shall ensure that Disciplinary Committee is constituted forthwith.
