The present writ petition is filed seeking the following reliefs:

"a) Issue a Writ of certiorari or any other appropriate Writ or Order to quash the opening rowdy sheet against the petitioner in Kolar Town Police Station No.SDPO/Rowdy/04/2024 dated 03.03.2024; Vide Annexure-A.

The grievance of the petitioner is that, pursuant

to the information sought by the petitioner under the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005, the impugned endorsement dated 28.04.2023, produced as Annexure-A to the writ petition, has been issued.

It is the contention of the petitioner that steps have been initiated by respondent No.4 to include his name in the rowdy sheet maintained within the jurisdiction of the concerned police station. Aggrieved by the said action, the present writ petition has been filed seeking the aforementioned relief.

It is forthcoming that, although the impugned endorsement was issued on 28.04.2023, as on date, the name of the petitioner has not been incorporated in the rowdy sheet maintained by the respondent.

It is vehemently contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been actively associated with several social causes and that his liberty would be curtailed by incorporating his name in the rowdy sheet.

However, the grievance of the petitioner is premature, in as much as, admittedly as on date, his name has not been incorporated in the rowdy sheet. In the event

the name of the petitioner is incorporated in the rowdy sheet and the petitioner is aggrieved by such inclusion, it is open to the petitioner to avail such remedies as are available in accordance with law.
