Sri Abhishek N N, the learned counsel for the petitioners, submits that as permitted by this Court on the previous date of hearing viz., 08.01.2026, the petitioner has furnished fresh KYC documents with the second respondent who has also defreezed the account.

This Court's previous order dated 08.01.2026 reads as under:

"Sri Francis Xavier, a learned counsel, is permitted to enter appearance for the second respondent – Bank, and the learned counsel places on record two communications received from the Barrackpore Police Commissionerate, Khardah and Alipurduar Birpara Police, West Bengal. The learned counsel submits that lien is only in a sum of Rs.24,000/- as against the sum in excess of Rs.3,00,000/- in the Account. The learned counsel further asserts that the

officials of the Bank have been able to ascertain that the petitioner does not reside in the address furnished with the Bank or in the cause title and that this Court must call upon the petitioner to furnish his KYC afresh.

With liberty to the petitioner to furnish a fresh KYC with the Bank by the next date of hearing, the office is directed to relist this petition on 22.01.2026 observing that, unless there could be further lien, the petition could be disposed of subject to the petitioner's current address being verified by the Bank."
