The petitioner was before the Karnataka State Administrative Tribunal at Bengaluru (for short, ‘the Tribunal’) questioning the order of suspension dated 16.08.2023 (Annexure-A1) in Application No.3774/2023. The Tribunal by its detailed order dated 05.12.2023, refused to interfere with the order of suspension. Questioning the order of the Tribunal as well as order of suspension, the petitioner is before this Court in this writ petition.

Memo dated 24.01.2024 on behalf of the petitioner is filed enclosing O.M., dated 03.01.2024. Under the said O.M., the petitioner is posted as Panchayath Development Officer, Grama Panchayath, Madikeri, Kodagu District. It is submitted that, subsequently, the petitioner is transferred from Kodagu to Bengaluru.
