The writ petition pertains to shifting of Mudigere Grama Panchayath from one building to another. The petitioner is a former President of Mudigere Grama Panchayath. It is her case that the Grama Panchayath office should not be shifted from the existing place to another place. She is presently not the President or Member of the Grama Panchayath. No personal rights of the petitioner is violated by the decision taken by the authorities concerned. The petition is in the nature of a public interest litigation.

For the aforementioned reasons, the writ petition is dismissed reserving the liberty to the petitioner to file a public interest litigation, if she is so advised.
