Learned High Court Government Pleader takes notice for all the respondents.

The grievance of the petitioner is that respondent No.4-Tahsildar, Devanahalli Taluk, has not acted upon the representation at Annexure-F dated 09.05.2025 given by the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the representation, the petitioner has stated that the

Committee for Regularisation of Unauthorised Occupation has taken a decision on 06.08.1994 to grant 25 guntas of land in Survey No.87 of Uganawadi Village, Kasaba Hobli Devanalli Taluk in favour of the petitioner. Thereafter, saguvali chit was also issued in favour of the petitioner on 05.05.1998. Nevertheless, the name of the petitioner is not entered in the revenue records.

Having regard to the contentions raised by the petitioner, this Court is of the considered opinion that the respondent-Tahsildar, is required to consider the representation given by the petitioner and pass necessary orders.

Consequently, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4-Tahsildar, Devanahalli Taluk, to verify from the records as to whether the Committee for regularisation of unauthorised occupation passed an order and whether saguvali chit was already issued in favour of the petitioner. If it is found that these facts are genuine, then it would be the bounden duty of the Tahsildar to proceed to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records.
