Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the representation, the petitioner has stated that the Committee for Regularisation of Unauthorised Occupation has taken a decision on 06.08.1994 to grant 1 acre 8 guntas of land in Survey No.87 of Uganawadi Village, Kasaba Hobli Devanalli Taluk in favour of the petitioner. Thereafter, saguvali chit was also issued in favour of the petitioner on 05.05.1998. Nevertheless, the name of the petitioner is not entered in the revenue records.

Having regard to the contentions raised by the petitioner, this Court is of the considered opinion that the respondent-Tahsildar, is required to consider the representation given by the petitioner and pass necessary orders.
