The present writ appeal has been filed impugning the order dated 27.01.2025 passed by the learned Single Judge in W.P No.11688/2022.

Parties are referred to as per their ranking before the writ court, for the sake of convenience.

The writ petition filed by the respondent herein has been disposed of with the following order:

“9. In view of decision of the Division Bench referred supra in W.P.No.15961/2022 disposed of on 23.08.2024, this writ petition also deserves to be allowed. Hence, the following order:

(a)The writ petition is allowed in part. The endorsement bearing No. PÁ¤EA(«)/¯É.C/¸À¯ÉC/»¸À(¹)/202122/7460-62 dated 30.03.2022 (Annexure-K) is quashed.

(b) Respondent No.2 is directed to consider petitioner’s application/representation dated 29.09.2020 for compassionate appointment, if the petitioner is otherwise eligible and pass appropriate

orders in the matter of providing compassionate appointment.

The respondents have been directed to consider the petitioner’s application for compassionate appointment dated 29.09.2020 in accordance with law. We do not find that such direction would be required to interfere with. The application has to be considered in accordance with the relevant rules, if the petitioner is eligible for appointment on compassionate ground. Therefore, we do not wish to interfere with the impugned order. We dismiss the writ appeal.

In view of the dismissal of this writ appeal, pending IA, if
