The appellant has filed the present appeal impugning an interim order dated 19.12.2025 passed by the learned Single Judge in WP.No.37676/2025 (EDN-RES) and other connected petitions.

The said petitions were filed by students who were not permitted to sit for the 6^th semester examinations, which was scheduled to commence on 23.12.2025. The said students were prevented from attending the 6^th semester examination on the ground that they had not appeared for the 5^th semester examination, which was conducted in June 2025 and therefore they were ineligible to appear for the 6^th semester examination.

The learned Single Judge had by an interim order permitted the said students to appear for examination, while observing that the results would not be announced without the leave of the court. Further, observed that the said order was without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the parties and the writ petitioners would

claim no equities in regard to the same. The disputes and the questions involved are yet to be adjudicated by the learned Single Judge. The appellant is not prejudiced in any manner as the impugned order specifically records that it is without prejudice to all rights and contentions.

accordingly dismissed.
