For the reasons stated in the affidavit accompanying the application—I.A.No.2/2025, the same is allowed and the delay of 45 days in filing the appeal is condoned.

The present appeal is filed impugning an order dated 08.11.2024 passed in W.P.No.29573/2024 (GM-FC) whereunder, the learned Single Judge has dismissed the writ petition filed by the appellant.

The said petition was filed seeking for a mandamus to direct

the Trial Court (Family Court) to dispose of the proceedings in M.C.No.3174/2018 as expeditiously as possible.

It is the submission of the learned counsel for the appellant that the proceedings before the Family Court are one of the oldest and limited relief is sought for to the extent of the said proceedings to be disposed of expeditiously.

In view of the aforementioned, without going into the merits of the rival contentions raised by both the parties as also the maintainability of the appeal, we dispose of the present appeal by requesting the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru to dispose of M.C.No.3174/2018 as expeditiously as possible.
