on record along with a report of the Karnataka Mediation Centre, evincing settlement between the parties.

In the connected M.F.A.No.5976/2018, a memo for withdrawal has been filed by the counsel for the appellant, which is also signed by the appellant seeking to dismiss the appeal as per the mediation settlement arrived in the connected M.F.A.No.4974/2018 on 25.02.2026.

The memorandum of agreement dated 25.02.2026 has been perused by us.

The parties are present, who have been identified by their respective advocates and they state that they have entered into the agreement with their own free will and accord

The appellants has inter alia agreed to pay a sum of Rs.4,00,000/- to the respondent towards all her claims of permanent alimony in full and final settlement by a demand draft No.000181 dated 21.02.2026 drawn on HDFC Bank, Bengaluru. This has been handed over to the respondent today in Court and she acknowledges the receipt of the same.

In view of the aforesaid settlement, the

M.F.A.No.4974/2018 is disposed of . The decree shall include the terms of the settlement.

The memo for withdrawal in MFA No.5976/2018 is

allowed and the appeal is dismissed in view of the mediation settlement arrived in M.F.A.No.4974/2018 dated 25.02.2026.
