Accused in Crime No.51/2025 registered by KTJ Nagar Police Station, Davanagere for the offences punishable under Section 419 and 420 of IPC, is before this Court in this petition filed under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 seeking anticipatory bail.

Naik, who is the alleged victim in the present case. Apprehending arrest in the said case, petitioner had filed Crl.Misc.No.516/2025, which was dismissed by the jurisdictional Sessions Court on 13.06.2025. Therefore, he is before this Court.

In the first information dated 17.03.2025, it is stated that the petitioner had introduced himself as a Doctor working in the office of the Hon'ble Governor of Karnataka State. On the pretext of providing employment to the children of the first informant, during the period from April, 2023 to July, 2023, the petitioner had totally received a sum of Rs.3,40,200/- which was paid by the first informant through bank transactions. However, the petitioner neither provided any employment nor repaid the amount received by him. On the other hand, his mobile phone was found to be switched off. It is under these circumstances, the first informant had approached the

Considering the nature of allegations found in the first information and also the fact that the petitioner is a person with criminal antecedents, I am of the opinion that his prayer for grant of anticipatory bail cannot be entertained. Accordingly, the criminal petition is
