The petitioner is before this Court calling in question the registration of a crime in Crime No.123/2023 registered for offences punishable under Sections 341, 504, 506 and 323 of the IPC.

Heard Sri. Shyam Kumar S.U., learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Sri. B.N. Jagadeesha, learned Addl.SPP appearing for respondent No.1 and perused the material on record.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the police after investigation have filed a 'B' report and 2 years have passed by, no protest petition is even filed.

In the light of the 'B' report so filed, the petition stands disposed reserving liberty to the petitioner to revive the subject petition in the event protest petition is filed by the complainant and further proceedings are taken up by the concerned Court.
