This Civil Petition is filed by the petitioner/wife for transfer of M.C.No.58/2025, filed by the husband for divorce before the Court of Senior Civil Judge and J.M.F.C., Srirangapatna, to the Court of Senior Civil Judge and J.M.F.C., Virajpete.

It is stated that their marriage was solemnized in the year 2012 and they are blessed with a child, who is now aged about 13 years. The child is residing with the husband at Srirangapatna and the petitioner is residing with her parents at Kannangala Village, Virajpete Taluk. It is further stated that the respondent/husband had initially filed M.C.No.63/2024 for restitution of conjugal rights before the Court of the Senior Civil Judge and JMFC at Srirangapatna, in which the petitioner filed her written statement stating that her willingness to join him. But later the said petition was withdrawn and thereafter, M.C.No.58/2025 has been filed for divorce. It is also stated that there is no direct transport facility from Virajpete to Srirangapatna. The petitioner is residing in Kannangala Village of Virajpete Taluk and she has to travel first to Virajpete, then to Mysuru and thereafter to Srirangapatna. Thus, it is inconvenient for her to travel such a long distance of more than 130 kms.

It is stated that the husband is a businessman and is having vehicle and is residing at Srirangapatna. Therefore, this Court finds it just and reasonable to transfer
