M.C.No.42/2025 filed by husband for divorce before Senior Civil

Judge and JMFC., at KGF to Family Court at Bengaluru.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner-wife stated that

the petitioner is residing in Bengaluru along with her parents and also minor child aged 3 years. It is stated that even as per

the divorce application, both of them resided together in Bengaluru and now, the respondent is staying in Kolar. The respondent filed an application for divorce at KGF only to trouble her. The distance between Kolar and Bengaluru is 100 kilometres. It is stated that the petitioner has no support or relatives in Kolar. She is employed in Bengaluru and managing her responsibilities. As such, it is difficult for her to travel to Kolar along with minor children.

5. Considering the arguments of learned counsel for the petitioner in the absence of respondent, this Court finds it just and reasonable to transfer M.C.No.42/2025 filed by husband for divorce before Senior Civil Judge and JMFC., at KGF to Family Court at Bengaluru. Ordered accordingly.

In the result, the petition is allowed .
