The complainant has filed the present complaint alleging

willful disobedience of an interim order dated 05.06.2025 passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court in Writ Petition No.15836/2025 (GM-RES). By virtue of the said order, an order

dated 27.05.2025 passed by the Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies was stayed. The said order, merely directed withdrawal of an earlier order dated 26.05.2025. Thus, the import of the order passed by this Court was that the withdrawal of an earlier order passed by the Deputy Registrar - order dated 26.05.2025, was stayed. The Deputy Registrar had passed the said order issuing directions to the accused for withdrawing the complainant's suspension from the Club [Young Men's Indian Association]. Admittedly, the complainant's suspension has since been revoked.

In the given facts, we are unable to accept that any proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, are required to be initiated against the accused.

The complaint is, accordingly, closed.
