No one appears for the complainant. Learned Counsel for the accused is present.

2. This petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 25.06.2024 passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court in W.P.No.3240/2024.

3. The complainant filed a petition claiming

compensation for acquisition of the land by the accused in Survey No.25/P6 situated in Chikkahullur Village, Kasaba Hobli, Hoskote Taluk, Bengaluru Rural District claiming to be the owner of two acres of land. The writ Court directed accused No.2 to consider the representation in accordance with law within three months.

4. A compliance affidavit of the accused

P.N.Nagaprashanth was filed on 23.04.2026 stating that the

complainant's claim was examined in detail and an endorsement has been issued from the office of the Special Land Acquisition Officer-1 dated 26.11.2025. It is stated that after due verification the Special Land Acquisition Officer issued endorsement dated 26.11.2025 stating that since it is Government land, the Tahsildar has transferred the land to the Board for formation of industrial area and KIADB has already deposited the compensation amount to the Deputy Commissioner, Bengaluru Rural District. An unconditional apology has also been tendered which is accepted.

5. The contempt petition is therefore consigned. It shall however be open to the complainant, if he is so advised, to challenge the endorsement in accordance with law before the appropriate forum.
