Since the petitioner is an employee of the Government of India, the writ petition before this Court is not maintainable, in view of an alternative remedy provided under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985.

Consequently, this writ petition is dismissed. However, liberty is reserved to the petitioner to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal in accordance with law.
