The petitioner asserts that he has met with an

accident on 07.11.2024 involving another two wheeler and that the jurisdictional police have not registered FIR based on the information provided by him. Smt K P Yashodha, a learned Additional Government Advocate, who accepts notice for the respondents, on instructions, submits that with the information about the accident being filed by the son of the owner of the other two wheeler, a FIR is registered and investigation is conducted.

This Court is of the opinion that registration of the FIR on the information by another must redress the petitioner's grievance insofar as this petition as investigation would involve examination of all aspects and that the petition must be disposed of but observing that this disposal cannot prejudice the petitioner in any other proceedings.
