Kote, praying that the election process of respondent No.6 Society be conducted from the stage where it was interfered with (issuance of calendar of events), and that the present Board continue per notification dated 05/06/2024 (Annexure-G) until elections. The Additional Government Advocate informed the Court that an Administrator was appointed on 10.11.2025 owing to non-compliance with Rule 13(d)(5) of the Karnataka Co-operative Societies Rules, 1960, the Society's Chief Executive having submitted the requisite details to the Returning Officer only on 13.10.2025; the State undertook to conduct the election within four months, to which petitioners' counsel raised no objection. Heard Sri. Varun J Patil, learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Additional Government Advocate for respondent Nos.1 to 3, 5 and 6, and Sri. A Devaraj, learned counsel for respondent No.4. Perused the materials on record.

Learned Additional Government Advocate submits

that since there is non compliance of the requirements under Rule 13(d)(5) of the Karnataka Co-operative Societies Rules, 1960, the Administrator was appointed on 10.11.2025.

that the Chief Executive of respondent No.7 is present before this Court and he categorically states that he has submitted the details as required under Rule 13(d)(5) of the Karnataka Cooperative Societies Rules, 1960 to the Returning Officer only on 13.10.2025 which compelled the respondents to appoint the Administrator.

Learned Additional Government Advocate further submits that all necessary steps will be taken as required under law, to conduct the election atleast within four months from today.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has no objections for directing the respondents to hold election atleast within four months from toady. Accordingly, I pass the following:
