2. Though the learned counsel for the petitioner

places reliance on the judgment of the Apex Court in the

Jodhpur and others¹ , in the light of several judgments to the contrary, we are not inclined to pass the orders as sought for. However, in case the petitioner wants to approach the respondent No.2-University with a further representation, the petitioner shall be permitted to do so. The request made by the petitioner shall be considered in accordance with law.

3. The petitioner is, therefore, permitted to approach the University with the representation pointing out the factual aspects of the matter.

4. With the above observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of .
