ORAL ORDER

Vide order dated 01.10.2024, this matter was referred to Karnataka Mediation Centre, Bangalore. The settlement report is submitted before the Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel appearing for respondents No.3 and 5 are present before this Court. Respondent No.4-party-in-person is present before this Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned

counsel appearing for respondents No.3 and 5 identify respondent No.4 who is present before the Court.

It is stated that respondent No.3 has agreed to receive a sum of Rs.2,50,000/- through Demand Draft specified in the memorandum of settlement. It is further stated that due to inadvertence, Demand Draft is not brought to the Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that respondent No.4 who is present before the Court will hand

over the Demand Draft referred to in memorandum of settlement by tomorrow i.e., by 10.01.2025.

This Court has perused the terms of settlement. This Court has no impediment to accept the terms of the settlement.

Subject to payment of the amount referred to above, settlement is accepted.

Writ Petition is disposed of in terms of the memorandum of settlement. In case, the aforesaid Demand Draft is not received by respondent No.2, learned counsel for the petitioners is permitted to move application to recall the order as per the terms of the settlement.
