Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties.

In this writ petition, petitioner is assailing the summons issued by the respondent No.1 in Crime No.8/2022 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 7, 8 and 9 of the Prohibition of Employment of Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Act, 2013 read with Section 3(1)(j) of the SC and the ST (PoA) Act, 1989.

With regard to the above, it is submitted by the learned Additional Government Advocate that, on 22.04.2022, 'B report' has been filed before the competent Court.

In that view of the matter, the proceedings before the respondent No.1 is hereby quashed in view of filing of B report before the competent Court.

The writ petition accordingly, stands disposed of.
