Writ Petition No. 23398 of 2025 (S-RES), High Court of Karnataka at Bengaluru (Ashok S. Kinagi, J.), oral order dated 11.11.2025 — Fifty-one petitioners sought a mandamus under Articles 226 and 227 directing respondent Nos.1 to 4 (Principal Secretaries to the Government of Karnataka for Animal Husbandary and Fisheries, Co-operation, and Personnel and Administrative Reforms, and the Managing Director, Karnataka Milk Federation) to consider their representation dated 24.07.2025 (Annexure-A) for grant of pensionary/service benefits, pursuant to the order in WP No.12144/2022 whereby this Court had permitted them to file separate representations; no order had been passed on the representation. Brief facts leading rise to the filing of this writ petition

are as follows:

The petitioners have submitted a representation to the respondents to comply with the orders passed by this court in WP No.12144/2022, wherein this court permitted the petitioners to file a separate representation to the respondent Nos. 1 to 4. The petitioners submitted a representation requesting the respondents to consider their legitimate grievance to grant the pensionary benefits. Despite, submitting the representation, respondents Nos.1 to 4 have not passed any order on the said representation vide Annexure-A. Hence, this writ petition.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Government Advocate for the respondents.
