The petitioner filed this writ petition seeking for the following prayers:

1. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction directing the Respondents No. 1 to consider the representation dated 28.11.2022 issued by the Petitioner to the Respondent No. 1 for inclusion for grant in aid vide Representation (Annexure M); and

¶36

2. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction directing the Respondents No. 1 and 2 to immediately process and include the name of the petitioner for grant in aid with all financial benefits with effect from date of initial appointment.

Brief facts leading rise to the filing of this writ petition are as follows:

The petitioner was appointed as Second Division Clerk in 2006. It is contended that the District Level

Review Committee was constituted on and verified

the eligibility of the petitioner and respondent No.4 for grant-in-aid in terms of the applicable norms on 02.08.2019.

Respondent No.1 has not considered the recommendation made by the District Level Review Committee. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 28.11.22, vide Annexure-M, requesting for inclusion of the petitioner for grant-inaid and respondent No.1 has not passed any order on the representation vide Annexure-M. Hence, this writ petition.
