ORAL ORDER

The petitioner filed this writ petition seeking for a mandamus directing respondent No.2 to consider the representations dated 06.06.2025 and 09.06.2025 vide Annexures E, F and F1, wherein the petitioner is seeking for order of promotion promoting the petitioner as Professor in Urology Department. It is contended that respondent No.2 has not passed any order on the representations submitted by the petitioner.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and

also the learned counsel for respondent No.2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has submitted set of representations with the request permitting him as Professor in Urology Department. Respondent No.2 has not passed any order on the set of representations submitted by the petitioner. Hence, he prays to issue a direction to respondent No.2 to

consider the representations and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law.

Learned counsel for respondent No.2 submits that, if reasonable time is granted, respondent No.2 would consider the representations vide Annexures - E, F and F1 and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law, if the petitioner is eligible for the promotion.

Learned counsel for respondent No.2 submits

that that the respondent could consider the representations consider the representations.

Accordingly, I proceed to pass the following:

ORDER

i. The writ petition is allowed .

ii. Respondent No.2 is directed to consider the representations vide Annexures - E, F and F1.

iii. Liberty is reserved to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to respondent No.2

and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law, within four weeks from the date of the receipt of the copy of this order.
