Heard learned counsels appearing for the respective

parties.

In this writ petition the petitioner is assailing the order dated 11.07.2022 (Annexure-B) passed by respondent No.5.

Having taken note of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing for the respective parties and also it is forthcoming from the writ papers that the petitioner being a successful bidder in the public auction of fishing rights in Honganooru Water Tank, Channapatna Taluk, was granted lease for fish farming in the said tank for five (05) years commencing from 2017-18 to 2021-22.

It is also reported that, the lease of the petitioner has ended on 30.06.2022 and therefore, petitioner is not able to get the benefit of extension of time, as same was made to others by the respondent. In this regard, taking into account the factual aspect on record, it is open for the petitioner to participate in the forthcoming tender notification that may be

issued by the respondent-authorities for fishing rights and

therefore, I do not find any merit in the petition.
