The petitioner, under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution, prayed for a declaration that his lands measuring 1 acre 16 guntas in Sy.No.2/1 of Kengeri Village, Kengeri Hobli, Bangalore South Taluk be deemed converted from agricultural to non-agricultural (residential) use under Section 95(5) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 pursuant to his application dated 26/08/2008. After filing of the petition, the respondents issued an Official Memorandum dated 12/02/2025 converting 1 acre 6 guntas in Sy.No.2/5 and 10 guntas in Sy.No.2/4 of Kengeri Village for personal housing residential purpose under Section 95(5). Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a memo,

which reads as under:

"It is submitted that after filing the Writ Petition, the respondents have issued an Official Memorandum dated 12/02/2025 converting the lands measuring 1 acre 6 guntas of land in Sy.No.2/5 and measuring 10 guntas in Sy.No.2/4 of Kengeri Village, Kengeri Hobli, Bangalore South Taluk, from agricultural to Personal housing residential purpose under Section 95(5) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964. The Copy of the Official Memorandum dated 12/02/2025 are herewith produced for kind perusal of this Hon'ble Court and marked as Document No.1 and 2.
