"WHEREFORE, the above named petitioner most humbly prays that this Hon'ble court maybe pleased to direct the respondent police to consider and Re-issue Gun Licenses bearing Licenses No.36/MAG/DCP(E)/2023, which as been cancelled by the Respondent Police dtd: 09.08.2023, by order No.12/Arms-7/Other/2023 as per Annexure 'A' in the interest of justice."

The petitioner is challenging the order of cancellation of a gun licence, as regards which the petitioner has alternative efficacy remedy in terms of Section 18 of the Arms Act, 1959.
