Learned High Court Government Pleader has placed on record the judgment dated 09.10.2020 passed by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in W.P.No.6139/2020 and connected matters, wherein it has been observed that, since the elections have already been concluded, the challenge to the notification fixing reservation no longer survives for adjudication. This Court has perused and examined the said judgment.

In light of the subsequent development of elections having been conducted, this Court is of the considered view that the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous. However, it is made clear that if the petitioners or any affected party are aggrieved by the Government Orders dated 11.09.2020 and 08.10.2020, it is always open for them to challenge the same in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as having become infructuous.
