The petitioner is before this Court seeking the

following prayer:

i. Issue writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent No.2 and 3 to consider the representation at Annexure-C, C1, C3 and C4 and to direct them to award interest on the arrears of pension paid by them.

ii. Issue such other writ or order or direction as deemed fit in the interest of justice and equity.

This Court on 07.02.2025 had passed the

“Learned HCGP is directed to accept notice for the respondents.

Petitioner to serve set of papers upon the learned HCGP.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that he was before this Court in W.P.No.112604/2014, which comes to be allowed by directing to re-fix the pension by taking the service of the petitioner rendered by him from 16.06.1969.

In the contempt petition, the State appears to have submitted that it has been deposited in 2024.

Counsel for the petitioner Smt.Chetana Biraj would submit that Rs.20 lakhs including interest is yet to be paid to the petitioner.

The State shall secure instructions on this front and make submission on the next date.

Learned counsel Smt. Chetana S.Biraj has filed a

memo along with calculation of the amount that is to be received by the petitioner. The amount in total is Rs.17,45,570/- that is still in due to be payable to the petitioner.

Learned HCGP would submit that this information

was not available at the time when the representation was submitted earlier.

In that light, I deem it appropriate to direct the petitioner to furnish a fresh representation enclosing the memo of calculations that is now enclosed to the memo filed before this Court.
