pending against him in C.C. No. 52375/2022 on the file of XXXIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Mayo Hall, Bengaluru.

The matter pertains to cheque bounce case initiated by the respondent herein in respect of two cheques allegedly issued by the petitioner for a sum of Rs.3.00 crores each. The learned Magistrate has taken cognizance of the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act vide order dated 19.04.2022 and ordered to register a criminal case against the petitioner.

Inspite of granting sufficient time, so far no steps are taken to comply office objections. It appears that the petitioner is not interested to prosecute the petition. The petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
